LOCAL FLOOR APPLICATION;
It is applied by the dentist in our center to strengthen the crystals in the structure of the tooth enamel by applying the varnish or gel-like fluorine locally to the teeth. Fluor-gel applications are a simple, economical and practical preventive method that can be easily applied and spread with a vaccine-like tradition. With this method, teeth are protected against tooth decay and early tooth loss is prevented. Fluorine approx. 30-60 sec. should be applied and repeated at 6-month intervals. Fluoridation should be applied to caries-free mouths. Care should be taken in children under 6 years of age, as fluoride may be swallowed during application. Ingestion of fluoride may cause nausea. Poisoning may occur due to excessive fluoride absorption. At least 30 minutes after fluoride application. nothing to eat or drink. If fluoride is not applied, dental caries may progress and cause tooth loss. After the fluoride application, the child is spitting out to evacuate the excess gel in order to prevent a toxic dose due to ingestion, especially for small age groups. In order to ensure continuity and caries protection in gel applications, children should be brought for a check-up every 6 months until the age of 10. If your health problem continues, please make an appointment with MHRS and apply to your dentist.

FISSURE SIELANT;
Fissure sealants are often white, fluid, anti-caries agents applied to the grooves on the chewing surfaces of the molars (back teeth). It is applied to milk teeth and permanent teeth by the dentist in our center. It is the most effective method in preventing caries in preventive dentistry. Fissure sealant with a flowing consistency is applied to the tooth and then hardened with blue light. There is no pain in this procedure, which takes 3-5 minutes. The transaction has no risk and no alternative. After the fissure sealant application, something can be eaten and drunk. There is no need to do any abrasion on the tooth enamel to apply fissure sealant. Fissure sealants can wear down over time. Teeth grinding and frequent consumption of hard foods can cause fissure sealants to break more quickly and fall off the teeth. After the fissure sealant is applied, it should be checked every 6 months. There are no complications in its application. If your health problem continues, please make an appointment with MHRS and apply to your dentist.

PLACE HOLDER ;

They are appliances that protect the spaces left behind due to the loss of milk teeth in the early period, and prevent the other teeth from slipping into these spaces. For the placeholder appliance, an impression is taken by the dentist in our center, and a placeholder appliance suitable for the measure taken by the dental technician is prepared. Placeholder appliances prevent the formation of crowding in permanent teeth. Placeholders are prepared 3-4 days after the measurement is taken and are placed in the mouth by the dentist. Fixed and movable placeholders can be made according to the patient's intraoral condition. The placeholders should stay in the patient's mouth day and night until the permanent teeth erupt, during which time a dentist should be checked once every 6 months. If it is not used, other teeth will shift towards the cavity. Movable placeholders should be removed while eating to prevent swallowing. Placeholder appliances can become dislodged, broken and crushed. Placeholder apes should be brushed together with other teeth, gum and foods that will stick to other teeth should be avoided while using the attachments. If your health problem continues, please make an appointment with MHRS and apply to your dentist.
